Louis Keefe Szarka is a 1986 graduate of Albany Law School of Union University Mr. Szarka received his B.A. from Fairfield University, graduating Cum Laude in Political Science in 1981.

Mr. Szarka has been practicing law in the State of New York for more than 35 years. He is an experienced litigator who regularly handles cases involving complex legal issues. He has represented a diverse clientele, including construction contractors, trucking companies, school districts, business owners and homeowners, motor vehicle operators as well as hospitals and physicians.

Having tried more than 100 cases to verdict and handled thousands more, Mr. Szarka has the ability to carefully guide his clients from the very beginning of their case through its end, whether the case goes to trial or is negotiated to a favorable settlement for his clients. Having had the opportunity to represent both defendants and plaintiffs in his career has given him the ability to effectively anticipate and neutralize the arguments to be made by the opposing side. His efforts have resulted in countless defense verdicts for the defendants he represents; early resolution of other cases and successful mediation or arbitration of many other cases.
